ColorTranslator Documentation

This is a short guide on how to use ColorTranslator. Should you still have any questsions, feel free to contact me and i will try to improve this manual by adding your question.

Installation

Grab an installer from the Downloads page and install ColorTranslator like you would download and install any other windows application.

Using ColorTranslator

ColorTranslator is pretty self-explanatory. Use the tabs to navigate around the program and remember the mouse button assignments for color fields:

Left Mouse Button: Use color as current color
Right Mouse Button: Drag color into other color field

ColorTranslator Videos

I have created some demo videos that show you some examples of how ColorTranslator can be used.

Video 1: Color Picking

While in the "Pick" tab, use your mouse cursor to point anywhere on the screen and press P on your keyboard to use the color at your cursor position as the current color.

Video 2: Advanced Copy & Paste

The Keyboard color field in ColorTranslator has some additional functionalities than other color fields. It can recognize a variety of color codes copied into clipboard from any application and allow you to paste these colors into ColorTranslator just as it is able to copy colors from ColorTranslator into the clipboard using different format. This video shows you how to use copy & paste in CSS stylesheet editing.
